Common questions
- My card won't scan at the till
- Turn the screen brightness up and hold the phone a little further from the scanner. Laser scanners at some tills can't read screens at all — if that happens repeatedly with one shop, tell us which one.
- Which barcode formats work?
- QR, Aztec, PDF417, Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 93, ITF-14 and Data Matrix.
- Can I add event tickets?
- Yes — tickets you got by email or as a PDF with a fixed QR or barcode work great. Tickets with rotating codes (ones that refresh every few seconds inside an app) can't be added; the code changes on purpose so copies won't scan.
- I bought credits but they don't show up
- Pull down to refresh in the app. If they're still missing after a few minutes, contact us with your App Store receipt.
- I got a new phone
- Your cards and credits follow your iCloud account. Install Pocketful, open it once, and your cards can be re-added from the card list.
