Pocketful

Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-07-05

Pocketful is built to know as little about you as possible. This page explains what we store, why, and what we never see.

No account, no profile

You don't sign up for Pocketful. The app generates a random identifier on your device and uses it to keep track of your credits and cards. It is not linked to your name, email address, phone number or Apple ID, and we cannot use it to identify you.

What we store

When you create a card we store the card's design, its title, and the barcode value you scanned, tied to the random identifier. We need this to issue the pass, to let you re-add it later, and to keep count of your credits. We do not store the photos you scan from — barcode detection happens on your device.

Purchases

Credits are bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. We receive a transaction receipt from Apple to add the credits you paid for.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with anyone. Our servers run on Vercel and Supabase inside the EU/EEA where possible.

Deletion

Delete a card in the app and it is deleted from our servers. If you want everything tied to your identifier removed, contact us and include the support ID shown in the app's settings.
